Teresa Day

Teresa is the Director of Schools and Families programme at the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust (CWMT) and has recently lead a large HEE-funded project focussing on the mental health needs of vulnerable children. Teresa’s other work for CWMT includes parent support projects and developing mental health training to support for whole school communities.

She is passionate about promoting the voice of young people and using creative arts and nature to improve wellbeing.

Teresa has extensive experience writing and developing training resources, and delivering training on emotional wellbeing and mental health for schools and other youth settings.

Teresa has also co-written a drama-based PSHE toolkit for schools which included creating a suite of on-line learning resources and has broad experience (both professional and personal) of the impact that the creative arts and contact with nature can play in promoting wellbeing.
